clover is an absolute ray of sunshine. he is energetic, outgoing and loves talking to people. he is everyone's biggest cheerleader and best friend! it seems that his positive outlook on life and bright demeanor can never be shaken. but what most people don't see is that clover is actually a very anxious person. he suffers from intense mood swings and a very low self esteem. he often worries about how others percieve him and being left behind by his loved ones is a common, persistent fear of his. of course, none of this means that his positive persona is a farce. he truly is an outgoing person who tries to look at things from the bright side. he may have his dark moments, but he always bounces back.

• clover has autism and adhd, which comes with a lot of sensory issues. primarily, he often feels understimulated and needs intense sensations to feel comfortable. hes a big fan of loud music and is often seen tightly gripping a stress ball or fidget toy.
• he loves making up and writing down his own recipes, but he never writes down exact measurements. he finds it much more fun to experiment and try something new every time!

• rochelle agosto his girlfriend!! his girlfriend!!!!!!! she is clover's whole world! clover admires everything about rochelle. he thinks she is the most amazing, beautiful person in the world and he constantly gushes about her to his friends. he would'nt trade her for the world.
• apple johnson clover's mother. he hasn't spoken to her since he left for college and he doubts she wants to hear from him either.
• jackson reese one of clover's former friends. he wasn't a good friend to clover, often manipulating and insulting him for no reason. even so, the end of their friendship was heartbreaking for clover (but not so much for jackson).
• madeline agosto rochelle's sister. he empathizes with her a lot because he's been in the same situation she's currently dealing with. he tries to offer her support whenever she talks to him.
